Kimberly Lynn Killian Globokar passed away Tuesday April 23rd in her sleep at her home, following a brief illness.
Kim was born July 23rd, 1962, to Sheffield and Daleen Killian, in Ogden Utah. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She attended Taylor School, Central Junior High, and Ogden High School. She worked for IHC and served in various roles in the medical field for many years.
Kim was also an artist, with beautiful lettering and watercolor painting skills. In her earlier years she enjoyed skiing, snowshoeing and river rafting.
In 1996, she married Lee Globokar. Lee passed away in 2016. She was also preceded in death by mother-in-law Judy Globokar, father-in-law Rudy Globokar, brother-in-law John Globokar and brother-in-law Dean Beus.
She is survived by her parents, Sheff and Daleen Killian, sister Stacee Killian, sister Jennifer Thompson, brother-in-law Zak Thompson, niece Vivvi Thompson, brother-in-law Jimmy Globokar, sister-in-law Linda Beus, niece Rachel Beus and nephew Ryan Beus.
Kim was a genuine, compassionate person who could start a conversation with anyone, leaving them smiling or in laughter. She loved her two rescue dogs, Mikey and Shadow.
A celebration of life will be held Wednesday May 1st at Leavitt's Mortuary, 836 36th St, Ogden, from 12:30 to 1:30 pm. Immediately following, interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 N Monroe Blvd, Ogden.
