Kirk A. Campbell, 63, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2013 surrounded by his family in Kingman, AZ. Kirk was born December 21, 1949 in Ogden, UT to Marvin Campbell and Bonnie Jones. Kirk graduated from Ogden High School. After graduation he joined the Marine Corp and served his country in the Vietnam War. Kirk married Becky Jarman on July 3, 1972 in Mallad, ID. They were later divorced. Kirk married Betty Blakely on July 27, 1985 in Ogden, UT who preceded him in death after 23 years of marriage.Kirk retired from Hill Air Force Base after 33 years as a Fabric Worker in 2011. Kirk loved hunting, fishing, attending car shows, and working on cars with his family. He was a tough man with a heart of gold who would do anything for anyone.Kirk leaves behind his children Gerrad (Tiffany) Campbell, Kingman, AZ and Tonya (Jeff) Thomas, Naperville, IL. step-children; Rhonda (Craig) Ward, Robert Harris, Ogden, UT, and Kathy Riley, Caldwell, ID; mom; Bonnie (Duane) Heslop, siblings; Denise Bullock, Debbie (Ruben) Salas and Jeff Campbell, Mesa, AZ; Marvin Campbell, Irving, TX; and Dale (Cindy) Campbell, Ogden, UT. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Kirk is preceded in death by Marvin A. Campbell, Becky Deeter, Betty Campbell, Lenny Riley and William Harris.Funeral Services will be held Saturday April 20, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, where friends may visit with the family Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services on Saturday.
