Korey was born on July 19th 1990, in Ogden Utah to Mickey and Sonya Daich. He always lived life like a big kid at heart. He was a talented artist, with aspirations of becoming a tattoo artist someday. He designed & completed many pieces on family & friends as well as himself. He loved camping with his family, fishing with his Dad. Anyone that truly knew him knows how much pride he took keeping his vehicles clean & shining just like his dad. Korey was a true mama’s boy, he worshipped the ground she walked on & she was always there for him through thick and thin. He had one brother, Shawn. And a sister, Mandy. Living as the three biggest goofballs, they all shared a bond that was truly unbreakable.
He loved everything outdoors related; snowboarding, rippin’ up in the hills on dirtbikes with his nephews, or hiking up in the mountains with his American Bulldog Mack. He enjoyed shreddin’ the drums, skateboarding, riding BMX, and was the life of all the parties, cranking up his music to the max. He was a true friend to many and always lived his life to the fullest. Korey had the best & unique laugh that was contagious. Growing up with his niece & nephews, Kestin, Wyatt & Tyson never leaving a dull moment. The endless amount of sleepovers making prank calls, late scary movie nights & riding dirtbikes out in the back pasture.
Korey was employed at Cerrowire as a Tech Machine Operator. He was always working hard & staying humble. He loved his co-workers and the relationships he was able to build with them the past few years.
Korey is survived by his parents; Mickey & Sonya Daich. His brother Shawn Daich, Niece Ella Daich. His Sister; Mandy & (Garry) Rowe, Niece; Kestin & (Kelton) Killian. His nephews Wyatt & Tyson Creager. And his Great Nephew Kolt Killian. & his grandma Viola & (Trent) Keller.
Korey was welcomed with open arms by his baby brother Jeremy awaiting him in heaven.
The family would like to express their gratitude to all those who have given their full support at this time. Thank you to Cerrowire for giving Korey a positive, uplifting & supportive outlook on life & also being there for the family during this difficult time. A viewing service will be held at Leavitt’s Mortuary on Saturday March 11th 2023, 836 36th Street Ogden UT 84403, from 5pm until 7pm, followed by a celebration of life at a later date.
Korey will be deeply missed by his family. He was a good & kind caring loving son, brother & uncle. He loved his nieces & nephews. Adored his little niece Ella, sharing the sweetest memories of her wanting to go downstairs with him to see the "ish" (fish) tank.
He had a heart as big as they could come. And loved by all those who truly knew him.
