I, Lenora Kaye Petty, journeyed home on April 12, 2015, with my loving children, two sisters, and several grandchildren at my side. My death resulted from pancreatic cancer. I was born on March 20, 1939, in Price, Utah, to my proud parents, Charles H. Madsen, Sr. and Lenora Roberts Kimball. On June 1, 1956, I married William Preston Tapp in Bountiful, Utah, and soon we were blessed with three lovely children, Paula DeLynn Alderson (James), Cindy Kaye Evans (Robin), and Michael Preston Tapp. Bill and I later divorced-twice-and remained close friends. On November 3, 1989, I married Joe Pistoia, Sr. He died April 11, 1993. George Browning Petty and I were married on October 2, 1993. He died May 28, 2003. I received my endowment on April 30, 2009, and was sealed to my first love and father of my children, William P. Tapp. I was an active member of the L.D.S. Malans Peak Ward at the time of my death. I worked as a government employee, co-owner of the Club Royal, and Housing Manager for the Elderly at Village Square. Bill and I were nationally honored with the HUD Howard Bishop Managers of the Year Award. Most importantly, my colleagues and senior residents along the way were both delightful and endearing. In life, I thoroughly enjoyed traveling the world with sisters, family, and friends. My volunteer spirit led me to local civic events, the Ogden Veterans Home, and many exciting causes in between. I will miss my three children, 13 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren dearly. Their spirit, creativity, and zest for life deeply inspired me! I am survived by my four brothers, Dr. Charles H. Madsen, Jr. (Diane), Dr. Clifford K. Madsen (Mary), Dr. Stanford K. Madsen (Janis), and Dr. Robert K. Madsen (Marcia), and four sisters, Millie Heaston, Charlene Horsley (Ed), Mary Chandler (Don), and Carolyn Chamberlain (Sam). I was preceded in death by my mother, father, and four sisters.
