"Papa" LaMar R. AverettJune 13, 1928 ~ October 6, 2011Papa" LaMar R. Averett, at the young age of 83, passed on October 6, 2011. He was born to Thomas Averett and Geneva Averett Robinson, in Castle Gate, Utah. LaMar was married to Bonny Higuera, he then married Lorinda Rose Averett. He is survived by his daughter Geneva (David), granddaughters: Angela and Michele (Bob), great grandchildren: Bobby Jay, Merritza, Shaylynn, Thomas LaMar and Alexander.LaMar was preceded in death by his parents; Thomas and Geneva, Siblings: Grant, Thomas Earl, Charles "Chad" and Lois (Randy). At LaMars request the family will be having a "Celebration of his Life", with a potluck dinner on October 22, 2011, at the Three Link Tower, 2427 Jefferson Ave, Ogden, at 3:00 p.m. For more information on attending please contact the family or the mortuary.
