Larry E. Parker, age 81, passed away October 29, 2017. He was born September 11, 1936 to Doc and Ruth Parker in Riverdale, Utah. Larry graduated from Weber High School, Stevens-Henager College, and Weber State College in Accounting.
Larry served in the Army and retired from Hill Air Force Base. He loved being outdoors, spending time with friends and family, fishing, hunting, gardening, and golfing. He kept busy with multiple hobbies and side businesses. As a member of the LDS faith, Larry served many years as the Ward Clerk and provided community service through the Bishops Storehouse and Cannery.
Larry is survived by his wife, Phyllis S. Stewart Parker; his sister, Patricia Miller; five children, Don L. Parker, Sheri L. Parker (Carla), Kenneth C. Parker (Jodi), Dana S. Hansen (Dale), and Craig S. Parker (Amanda); 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Larry is preceded in death by his wife, Mary E. Leavitt Parker; his parents, Doc and Ruth; and two brothers, Dick and Ted.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 3, 2017 at 11:00 am at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah. There will be a viewing on Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 6:00 8:00 pm and from 9:45 10:45 am prior to the funeral service.
