Together Again: Our loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend Lawrence Ray Udink was reunited with the love of his life, LaDeen on Christmas Eve. Ray quietly passed away at his home December 24, 2014 surrounded by his family. Ray was born May 18, 1935 to George and Marie Udink of Ogden where he was raised along with his two brothers Ken and Robert. Ray worked at Hercules Corp until he had saved enough to purchase the "KEG" where he became his own boss and made a lot of new friends. He enjoyed playing in pool tournaments and having holiday parties for his friends and family. He also enjoyed playing golf, hunting, fishing, and camping in his younger years but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids until the very end. He loved his kids more than anything and would do anything for them. Ray also loved his dog, buddy and companion Jacks. He is survived by his four daughters, Debra Braegger, Mountain View, WY, Michelle (Jerry) Wilkinson Ogden, UT, Shauna (Paul) Thomas Ogden, UT, Carmelle (Bob) Taylor Ogden, UT, his brothers Kenneth (Marcee) Udink and Robert (Jeanne) Udink. Hes also survived by 12 grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren that loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his wife LaDeen, his father George, his mother Marie and son-in-law Philip Braegger. The family would like to thank Applegate Hospice for their excellent care. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Leavitts Mortuary, 836-36th Street, Ogden, UT. Family will greet friends Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the mortuary and one hour prior to the service.
