Leland (Pete) Leroy Peterson, 84, passed away peacefully in his home, Sunday, 25 March 2012, from natural causes. He was born 3 April 1927 to William and Etta (Henrietta) Clark Peterson in West Warren Utah. He married Ruth Wagstaff in the Salt City Temple on 7 November 1951. Lee retired with 39 years of service from Defense Depot Ogden in May 1982. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Lee loved to go camping, hunting, and fishing, and immensely enjoyed teasing his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was also an avid gardener.Lee is survived by his wife Ruth, daughter Carol (Michael) Wheeler, sons Clark (Jeanne) Peterson and Roger Peterson, sisters Norma Davis and Verla Miles, 11 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
