Lenard J. Kendell passed away on Nov. 2, 2022. He was born on Oct. 3, 1928 to George E. and Mable Irene Harbertson Kendell in Uintah Utah. He graduated from Weber High School in 1947. He married his high school sweetheart Betty Lou on Aug. 29, 1947 in the Salt Lake Temple. They settled in the town of Uintah where they raised six fine children. He retired from the O.U.R.&D. Co. in Sept. 1990 with 40 years of service as an engineer. They held many church callings including a service mission at the Ogden cannery. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Lou. He is survived by his six children; LaRene (Brent) Bovero, Marilyn (Randy) Roper, Brad Kendell, Bart (Julie) Kendell, Bret (Karen) Kendell and Marylou (Matt) Hainline. Also he is survived by 22 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and four great-great grandsons, one sister Zelda foster and one sister-in-law Shirley Kendell. A viewing will be held Wednesday November 9, 2022, from 6-8 p.m. at the Uintah LDS 2nd ward chapel, 1775 E. 6650 S. Uintah UT. The funeral service will be Thursday November 10, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at the Uintah 2ND ward chapel with a viewing one hour prior to service. Interment is at the Uintah City cemetery.
