Linda (Williams) Abner of Clinton, UT, shuffled off her mortal coil late on the evening of December 17, 2025. She was 77 years of age.

Born on January 27, 1948, to Ralph and Ann Williams, in Ogden, UT, she was the second of four sisters. She graduated from Ben Lomond High in 1966, adventuring and working in a few of the national parks, before getting her "real job" with the IRS.

She married Steven Abner, had 2 kids and some adventures that included sailing, a few cross-country driving trips, and riding ATVs, along with a job change, moving to Hill AFB, and several house moves.

She retired from Hill AFB with over 30 years in civil service, and she and Steve divorced after more than 30 years of marriage, mostly amicably.

After getting her feet under her, she spent a few years going on road trips with family and visiting those who were too far away for a simple road trip.

Until she lost too much eyesight, she loved driving around in her convertible with the top down, crochet, puzzles and painting, mysteries and cop dramas.

She was proud of her kids, and extra-proud of her grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her parents, elder sister, most of her friends, and her beloved Shih Tzu, Squiggy. She is survived by her children Erica (Carl) and Gentry (Carrie), her grandchildren (Alice, Aurora, Nox; Lachlan (Maricela), Eleri), two younger sisters, and several niblings and great-niblings.

A viewing will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 9th, located at Leavitt's Mortuary & Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th Street, Ogden. A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 12th at 11:00 a.m. at the same location.
