Linda Garrard Sharpe, of South Ogden, Utah, was born August 11, 1948 in Montgomery, Alabama to Dr. Willis & Edith Garrard. She died June 2, 2017 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Linda attended high school in Charleston, West Virginia, received a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University and went on to receive a Masters Degree from Cal Poly University in California. Linda worked as a Kindergarten and 1st grade teacher in Santa Maria, CA. She was a gifted pianist and shared her talent endlessly. She especially enjoyed accompanying choirs and participating in other musical performances. Her greatest joy was her husband, family & friends. She will be remembered for her kindness and generosity to everyone around her. Linda is survived by her husband Jerry Sharpe, her children Tauna Lewis, Kristin Cunningham, Jeanette Travis, Todd May and Richard May, two step-sons Jeff Sharpe and Jason Sharpe, and siblings Ruth Sullivan, Grady Garrard, and Laura Heiner. Linda is preceded in death by her parents and brother Bruce Garrard. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 10th, at 1:00pm at the Pleasant Valley 4th Ward Building, 5640 South 850 East, South Ogden, Utah. Viewing will be held from 6:00-8:00pm Friday, June 9th at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th St, Ogden, UT. and prior to Services at the Church from 11:30 am12:30 pm.
