Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Lois Larsen Ketcham Denney, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2022. Lois was born on March 5, 1939 to William and Audrey Larsen in Denver, Colorado. Lois moved to Ogden at an early age where she graduated from Ogden High School in 1957. Lois married her high school sweetheart, Clifford Ketcham, on June 26, 1957 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Together they had three beautiful children, eight grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren. In 1966, they went into business opening Cliff’s Chevron. As with everything, Cliff and Lois worked together to make Cliff’s Chevron a successful business.
After Cliff’s passing, Lois married Ray Denney on March 15, 1997. Lois and Ray had 25 wonderful years of traveling and enjoying each other’s company. They both loved their second home in Hurricane where they made many great friends.
Lois was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She held many positions in the church throughout her life. Her favorite calling was helping out with the music in primary. Lois always wanted to be the life of the party. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. She enjoyed playing golf with her family and friends, going to lunch, shopping and being with her grandchildren. She was always a great support to her children and husbands. Lois will truly be missed.
Lois was predeceased by her parents, her husband Cliff, brother Dave Larsen, sister Diane Heitz and daughter in law Kathy Ketcham.
She is survived by her husband Ray Denney, children Jeffrey James (Janet) Ketcham; Susan May (Charlie) Hunsaker; Mark L. (Jeri) Ketcham. Grandchildren Brady (Lindsay) Ketcham, Jennifer (Rory) Borchert, Tyler (Shayla) Ketcham, Kara Ketcham, Mitch (Miranda) Ketcham, Nicholas (Makenzie) Hunsaker, Chase (Kylie) Hunsaker, Rachel (Nico) Dato and 17 great grandchildren.
