On July 27, 2016, Lori Ray lost her battle with addiction. She was born August 11, 1959 to Walter G. Ray and Myrna R. Ray. Lori grew up in South Weber, Utah and was a graduate of Clearfield High School. She also attended Utah State and Weber State. Lori loved animals and cared deeply for the mistreated abused and strays. She had a very caring heart and always made you feel welcome. She never forgot a holiday or a birthday. She will be missed very much. Lori was a member of the LDS Church. Lori is survived by her sister, Jan Thurgood; nephews, Jace Clark, David Ray, Jr.; long time friend, Kelly Montgomery and her cats that she rescued: Katie Sue, Alex Jean, Peanut and Tuggy Ray. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Myrna Ray; brothers, Mike, David and Scott Ray. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, August 13, 2016 At 10:00 AM at the Uintah Cemetery, 1500 East 6600 South, Uintah, Utah.
