Lynette Sargent Judd
Lynette Sargent Judd, 89, passed away at her home March 27, 2014. She was born June 24, 1924, to William L. and Lois Sargent in Coalville, Utah. Lynette graduated from North Summit High School in 1942. She married Glen James Judd, November 3, 1942 in the Salt Lake Temple. To him she was a devoted wife for over 71 years. Prior to her marriage she worked as a dental assistant.
They have six children to whom she was a perfect mother. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in many callings. She and Glen served 3 LDS missions, two in Michigan and one in Intercity Ogden. For many years she served as a temple worker in the Ogden Temple. Her kind and gentle soul will be greatly missed.
She had 28 grandchildren, 86 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Each were loved and cherished and never forgotten on their birthdays.
Lynette is survived by her husband, Glen, and children; Carol (Jose) Valdez, Sue Ann Judd, Kerry (Christene) Judd, Terry (Carlyle) Shaw, Nadine )(Kelly) McGarry and one daughter-in-law Jill Judd. She was preceded in death by her son James R. Judd.
The family would like to thank Dr. Gary Christensen, Debbie, Shelly and Sandy from Utah Hospice Specialists, for their loving care of Mom.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Burch Creek 3rd Ward, 5161 S. 1300 E., Ogden, Utah. The viewing will be held at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th St., Ogden, UT, Monday evening from 6:00 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the L.D.S. Humanitarian Services Fund would be appreciated.
Interment will be in the Coalville City Cemetery.
