Good God!!! The infamous words of our one of a kind, but loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend has unexpectedly passed away on November 15, 2015 at the young age of 69. He was a storyteller who loved to share his life experiences. He graduated from West High School and attended Stenograph School. In 2000 he retired from Kennecott after 30 years of service. Retirement was the best time of his life. He enjoyed his new home, movies, visits with his children and grandchildren, trips to Bear Lake, Snowbird and Nascar. Lynn also served in the Army Reserve for six years. Lynn is survived by his wife of 46 years, Nancy Eckles Thomas; children, Lisa (Mike) Ross, Ryan (Marci) Thomas, Heidi (Shay) Howard, Chelsi (Dave) Hadley, Sheina (Jeremy) Gurney, Cami (Justin) Lane; 19 grandchildren; one great grandson; nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by both parents, Charles and Leona Sollis Thomas and brothers, Clifton and Monte Thomas. A Viewing will be on Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah. Services will be held on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 12:00 noon at Leavitts Mortuary. Friends may visit with the family prior to services from 11:00 to 11:45 am.
