In loving memory of a wonderful husband, dad, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. Lynn Anthon Walker was born April 1, 1927, in Vernal, Utah, to Joseph Darrell and Dorothy Griffiths Walker, who preceded him in death. He had three brothers; Robert Walker (Arvil), Kieth Walker (Judy), and Kenneth (JoAnn), all who preceded him in death.

Lynn graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1945. He was a US Navy veteran and attended Utah State Agricultural College (now known as Utah State University) in Logan, Utah. He married Mary Pagano in Elko, Nevada in 1952. They lived in Clearfield, Salt Lake City, and Ogden. Lynn was employed at Hill Air Force Base for 30 years, where he was foreman in the air conditioning/refrigeration shop.

He was an active member of the Hill Rod and Gun Club. Lynn and his brother Robert ran the club for many years. This was Lynn’s favorite pastime, and he made many wonderful lifelong friends. He also enjoyed prairie dog hunting with friends, and competed in the skeet shooting senior games in St. George, Utah where he won many medals including several gold metals.

Lynn is survived by his daughters; Debbie Anderson (Robert), and Terri Packham (Alan); his granddaughters Brittany Christensen, and Alexa Packham; and his two great-grandchildren, Tristan and Ophelia White. He had two very special companions; Carol Hatch and Darlene Anderson. Both of their families welcomed Lynn into their lives with open arms and open hearts and shared many wonderful memories and adventures.

A special thank you to Mike Hansing and Craig Smith for their unwavering friendship, who shared his love of skeet shooting at the range and prairie dog hunting. Lynn made many new friends during his time at Treeo South Ogden. Special thanks to Inspiration Health and Cornerstone Caregiving. Their CNAs and nurses were so special to him, especially Nia, who was his favorite.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Leavitt’s Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah 84403, with a viewing held an hour prior starting at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Lynn passed peacefully, and is shooting 100 out of 100 in heaven now.
