Mac Hensley Averett, 53, passed away February 20, 2012. He was born May 6, 1958 to Jerold and Sharon Averett in Lovell, Wyoming. He graduated from Soda Springs, Idaho High School.Mac attended college at Utah State University in Logan, Utah. After 4 years of Honorable Service in the US Air Force he spent most of his life in Nothern Utah as the father of 7 children. Mac is survived by his companion of 17 years, Diane Gale, sons; Jeremy and Quinn, daughters; Nicole Averett Davis and Melissa Averett Murray stepchildren; James and Robert and Aimee Gale and 12 grandchildren. A memorial service for Mac will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.
