IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Marcus
Stanley
April 24, 1992 – May 2, 2024
Marcus Charles Stanley passed away peacefully on May 2, 2024. He was born April 24, 1992, in Ogden Utah. His Parents are Mark Stanley and Melanie L. Duncombe. He grew up in West Point (Dub P), Utah and graduated from Syracuse High School.
To know Marcus was to love him. He would greet you with a big beautiful smile, and a bear hug that has been known to break a few ribs. Marcus had the purest spirit, and the kindest heart; he loved everyone he met, a defender of all.
One of his greatest joys was the love of food, with a special fondness of Sushi. He was a true fitness enthusiast who enjoyed Jiu-Jitsu (Mori Training Center), wrestling, endurance cycling, running, and a good old-fashioned workout. He had a love for hiking in the mountains and visiting the Florida family farm. Marcus collected an incredible amount of music of all genres; his love of music was inspired at a very early age by his big sister April ("Issy.) Music was his soundtrack to life.
He worked at Asplundh Trees and enjoyed the camaraderie he had with his co-workers, but most of all he had a great love for the trees. His favorite thing to do was to climb to the top and see what the world presented from a higher perspective. Marcus always saw the world in the most organic and optimistic ways.
Marcus' most precious love was for his family. He loved being "Uncle"; playing and wrestling with anyone who dared. He was always helpful with any work that was needed for any reason. He arrived equipped and ready with a strong presence, wearing that handsome smile.
Survived by, His Mother - Melanie L. Duncombe (Michael), Stepbrothers Tyler and Travis Duncombe, Father - Mark Stanley (Dena), Sister - April Stanley, Stepbrothers, Brody and Kevin Woodling, many Aunts and Uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceded in death by his Grandparents Darla Kingston, Clyde and Greta Stanley, and his dog Jaxson.
Good Night Marca-Man, Shoo-Meez (Sweet Dreams)
