Margaret Marie Hatch passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the age of 69. Margaret was born on June 15, 1944 in Ogden, Utah a daughter of Raymond and Elaine McArthur Orton. The youngest in her family, she was raised in Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School. She attended Utah State University and the College of Southern Idaho. In 1963, Margaret married Dan Larsen and together they had two children, Kurt and Kristen. They later divorced and Margaret moved back to the Ogden area. In 1983, Margaret married Steven Hatch and became a mother to Mark and Johanna Hatch. Margaret worked at Evans Grain for many years where she made lifelong friends. She also worked at First Security Bank. The most important thing in Margarets life was her family. She was devoted to her children, grandchildren and had a close relationship with her siblings and large extended family. She loved to travel and take the kids and grandkids to new places. Margaret enjoyed the many McArthur campouts and all events with cousins, aunts, and all family members. She was a great cook, had a great personality and enjoyed life to the fullest. Margaret was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and enjoyed the friendship of ward members. She will be greatly missed by all. Surviving are her husband, Steven, sons Kurt Larsen and Mark (Angie) Hatch; daughters Kristen (Brad) Williams and Johanna Hatch. Margaret is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Anisa Williams, Joshua, Hayden and Kortnee Hatch, and Samantha Hatch. Surviving siblings are Ken (Nelda) Orton, Karma (Norm) Dahle, and Richard (LeAnn) Orton. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter-in-law, Angela Larsen, and her grandson, Trevor Moore, who she will be very happy to see again.
