Margaret Alice (Wilson) Morgan, 71, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, she was the daughter of William Woodrow Wilson and Margaret Bell (Maack) Wilson. A woman of quiet strength and gentle spirit, Margaret found her greatest happiness in the simple, meaningful things close to home.
Margaret's love for her family ran deep. She was a devoted mother to her sons, John VanderSchaaf (Shauna) and Mark Jennings, and treasured every moment with her grandchildren Evelyn and Rhett VanderSchaaf who brought her immeasurable joy. She loved to talk and visit with those she held dear — a good conversation with someone she cared about was something she always welcomed.
Margaret had a gift for creating beauty with her hands. Whether she was carefully crafting a cross-stitch pattern or working a crochet hook through soft yarn, her creations were made with patience and love, and treasured by all who received them. Many who knew her will forever hold close the handmade pieces she gave so generously.
Margaret lived to celebrate the achievements of her extended family; she made sure no milestone went unnoticed, carefully archiving every mission call, wedding, and graduation in beautiful scrapbooks that capture her deep love for us all.
She will be remembered as a kind soul who viewed the world through a lens of innocence and grace. She always spoke with kindness and preferred the light of family stories over all else.
She is survived by her sons and grandchildren, her sister Christene Judd (Kerry), as well as her dear co-grandparents Tom, Maria, Natalie, Wes and Josie.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. located at Leavitt's Mortuary & Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th Street, Ogden. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Margaret's greatest delight was watching her grandchildren perform. In her memory, the family welcomes donations to the Evelyn Harris Vocal Student Scholarship, in honor of the young performers she adored.
The family thanks you for your kindness, your prayers, and your presence.
