Margaret Schwitzer's Obituary

Margaret A. Schwitzer returned home to her Heavenly Father on Saturday; March 22, 2014. She was born October 30, 1947 to Hyrum and June Watkins Doxey, and later adopted by Arthur and Eva Watkins Kunz. Margaret graduated from Ben Lomond High School. On June 10, 1966 she married Floyd Leon Schwitzer. Margaret touched everyones life that she came in contact with. She loved children and was always teaching people to swim, which was her lives passion. Her most prized treasures were her children, and grandchildren. She loved attending all their sports activities, dance recitals and band, choir or orchestra concerts. Margaret was always there to cheer each child on to success. She loved to travel, go camping and ride her bike. She was a member of the Pioneer Trails Ward where she was a primary teacher. Her class and all of the primary children will miss her greatly. Margaret is survived by her husband Leon Schwitzer of Hooper, three children; Brenda (Michael) Briggs of West Haven, Zachary (Amanda & Angela) Schwitzer of Roy, Jeremy (Farrah & Cristal) Schwitzer of Roy and 10 grandchildren Tyler, Morgan & Autumn Smilowitz; Ryan, Rylee & Jayden Schwitzer; Sierra Morgan; Keira, McKenna & Rigley Schwitzer. One brother, Gary Kunz of Roy. Two sisters, Deborah (Randy) Cheney of Salmon, Idaho, and Diane Reynolds of Ogden. She is preceded in death by her parents Hyrum & June Doxey, Art & Eva Kunz, a son-in-law Isaac Smilowitz and a niece Ambree Philpott. The family would like to thank all the wonderful doctors and nurses at Ogden Regional Hospital that helped take care of her. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to either the American Cancer Society or the Lymphoma/Leukemia Society. Friends and family can call at Leavitts Mortuary 836 36th Street Ogden, Utah on Thursday; March 27, 2014 from 6:00 8:00 pm and Friday; March 28th 10:00 10:45 am for family only. Services will be held on Friday; March 28, 2014 at 11:00 am.
