March 30, 1960 ~ July 6, 2019

Maria Cruz Lozano, 59, passed away July 6, 2019, surrounded by many loved ones. She was born March 30, 1960 to Wenceslao and Ofelia Chavez in Ogden, Utah. She married the love of her life Roberto Lozano, August 25, 1994.

She was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She was a true blessing to our family and will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Maria is survived by her husband, Roberto Lozano of 33 years; four daughters, Diane Chavez, Christina (Quade) Escobedo, Angel (Gera) Polina, Roberta (Justin) Rader; one god daughter, Sherrie Martinez; three sons, Tommy Lozano, Ricardo (Cassandra) Escobedo, and Ramiro Lozano; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother, Epifanio Chavez; and three sisters, Wanda Nacario, Jesse Martinez, and Lisa Archuleta.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Delores Chavez.

A viewing will be held at Leavitt’s Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, UT on Thursday, July 18, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Graveside Services will begin at 11:00 am on Friday, July 19, 2019 at Ogden City Cemetery, 1875 Monroe Blvd, Ogden, UT.

Mom, you're truly one of a kind, irreplaceable. I miss everything about you. Life will never be the same, im so greatful God blessed me with you as my mother. You taught me how to love, what it takes to be a good mom, and wife. You always put everyone first. I'm greatful for all the memories we share together. Just know when you left you took a piece of me with you. I love you so much, I'll see you again. I know you'll always be with us. Love you with all my heart, as you always say sleep with angels.

I would like to start off with my Nina was the most kindest sweetest woman you could ever meet . She was a very loving godmother , she was a very loving mother to her kids and a wife to her husband and most of all very loving grandmother to her grandkids , her sisters and brother loved her so very much . Im saddened to see her go so soon . May she Rest In Peace and dance with our loved ones as we wait to see them all again .
