Marie Biberger AustinMarie Biberger Austin, 87, passed away March 15, 2012 of pneumonia. She was born on March 5, 1925 in Munich Germany to Martin and Josephine Biberger. Marie worked as a secretary during WWII for the Bavarian Red Cross. She immigrated with her family to Canada in 1952, and married James E. Austin in 1955. Marie became an American citizen in 1958. She was a great cook and loved fishing and traveling with her family.Marie is survived by two daughters, Marsha (Mike) Alvord and Pam (Keith) Larson and seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Austin, and Tori Larson; Ryan, Alex, Rachel and Rebecca Alvord. She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers, her husband and her grandson, Christopher Alvord.Funeral services will be held at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street on Monday March 19, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. The family will greet friends on Monday from 2:00 2:45 p.m. prior to the service.Interment in Leavitts Aultorest Memorial Park.
