Marie A. Hertzke, 87, departed this world on October 20, 2018. Marie was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on March 3, 1931, to Carolyn and John Kerwick. She was a wife, mom, grandma, Ggma, friend, mentor, and occasional pain in the rear. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her. The void she leaves is immense. Marie dedicated her entire life to her family with the deepest love possible. She raised five children and spent decades as a military wife supporting her husband, John, around the globe. In that time, she welcomed many visitors and strangers into her home and became the hostess with the mostest. Her effervescence and loving smile filled the hearts of many people during her life. Marie is survived by her children Chris (Devin) Calcut, Michael Hertzke, Marykay (Corey) Hertzke, Johnnie (Holly) Hertzke, and Steven (Shelley) Hertzke; her grandchildren Ian Hertzke, Zackary Anton, and Bailey Henrie. No service is planned at this time. Maries family will have a quiet ceremony in the spring in Eden, Utah.
