Marie A. Jackson passed away on November 6, 2017. She was born to Lawrence George Sandberg and Ruth Irene Devoe in Ogden, Utah on May 8, 1942. She grew up in the Ogden area and graduated from Ogden High School. She married Charles Butch Earl Jackson August 28, 1981. Marie worked at Combes for many years until Combes closed. She then went to work for Farrs Ice Cream, where she met her sweetheart Butch. She then went to work for Burger Bar before finally going to work at Moors family restaurant until she retired. Marie helped on the farm with her mother and loved crafts. She was the favorite aunt Rea. She loved her nieces and nephews; they all held a special place in her heart. She loved to be with family and friends, enjoyed to travel, and listen to western music. She always had a kind word for everyone and loved all. Her kindness and sweet spirit will be missed by all. Marie is survived by her sisters, Sharron Finney, Ruby (Frank) Sanders, and Lorraine Jensen; sister-in-laws, Sarah Sandberg, and Holly Hulss. She is preceded in death by her spouse, Charles Butch Earl Jackson; parents, Lawrence and Ruth Sandberg; sisters, Violet, Joyce, and Ruth; and her brothers, Larry and Harry. Services will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017, at 11:00 am, the family will greet friends prior to services from 10:00 to 10:45 am at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah. Interment at Leavitts Aultorest Memorial Park.
