Marilyn Osmond Bell left this earthly life on November 16, 2015 at the age of 62. She was born to James Osmond and Virginia Woodbury in Ogden, Utah.
Marilyn attended the Utah School for the Blind, and Ben Lomond High School, graduating in 1971. She attended Snow Jr. College where she received an Associates Degree in Social Work. Before attending Snow, she worked at a snack bar and went to beauty school.
Marilyn married Wayne Guymon in the Ogden LDS Temple in April 1976. They later divorced. Marilyn met and then married her soulmate Mark Bell in July of 2002. He passed away in April of 2006, which left her heartbroken.
She loved to do crafts and made many things for her home. Her home was beautiful, and a great testament of that. She volunteered at the local crisis center. She was involved in many groups within the community.
Even through the struggles of raising visually impaired children, while also visually impaired, she dedicated her life to her children loving them unconditionally. Marilyn was the cornerstone of the family. She loved being a mother and providing for her children to the best of her abilities.
Marilyn loved to travel and spend time with her family and friends. Many people considered her their second mother. She was proud of all of her childrens accomplishments and talents.
Marilyn had great love for everyone and became a born again Christian in 1985.
She loved crosses, butterflies, angels, wind chimes, music boxes, and bells.
Marilyn was a breast cancer survivor along with other health struggles throughout her life. Even though she struggled, she was still able to accomplish many amazing things.
We would like to thank Caregiver Support Network, The Ride, and The Senior Companion Program for their loving patience in caring for our mother. We would especially like to thank Kelsey her aid, Jeff her nurse and Mercedes her homemaker, along with all of the healthcare professionals over the years.
Marilyn is survived by her three children, Adam, Virginia and David Guymon. She is also survived by her sisters, Kathleen Osmond and Sharon Salvesen Kelley.
She was preceded in death by her husband Mark, her father James; her mother Virginia; and her step-father Conrad Salvesen.
