Mario Enrique Arevalo, de 70 años, de Ogden, falleció el 6 de enero de 2026.

Mario nació el 4 de marzo de 1955, hijo de Marcelino y Victoria Arévalo, en San Salvador, El Salvador. Emigró a Estados Unidos en 1977.

En 1977, Mario se casó con Dora en Los Ángeles, California. Mario y Dora tuvieron dos hijos, Salvador y Jessy. Su mejor momento juntos eran las reuniones familiares donde les encantaba bailar y hacer que la gente se divirtiera haciéndoles reír.

En 2016, Mario se jubiló y dedicó su tiempo a la jardinería, explorando senderos naturales para caminar, yendo al lago Pineview, probando diferentes restaurantes y pasando tiempo con su familia, y le encantaba cocinar para todos. Sobre todo, le gustaba su música y las vacaciones.

Mario fue precedido en muerte por sus padres Marcelino y Victoria. Le sobreviven su esposa Dora, sus hijos Salvador y Jessy, y sus nietos Caysen, Shiley, Cohen y Elena. También fue bendecido por dos nietos adicionales, Layla y Julian. Y su bisnieto Jesiah.

Servicios funerarios se llevarán a cabo en Leavitt's Mortuary & Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th Street, Ogden, el 9 de enero de 2026 a las 10:00 a.m.

Mario Enrique Arevalo, 70, of Ogden, passed away on Jan. 6, 2026.

Mario was born on March 4, 1955, the son of Marcelino and Victoria Arévalo, in San Salvador, El Salvador. He immigrated to the United States in 1977.

In 1977, Mario married Dora in Los Angeles, California. Mario and Dora had two children, Salvador and Jessy. Their best time together was family gatherings where they loved to dance and make people have fun by making them laugh.

In 2016, Mario retired and dedicated his time to gardening, exploring nature hiking trails, going to Pineview Lake, trying different restaurants, and spending time with his family, and he loved cooking for everyone. Above all, he liked his music and vacations.

Mario was preceded in death by his parents Marcelino and Victoria. He is survived by his wife Dora, his children Salvador and Jessy, and his grandchildren Caysen, Shiley, Cohen and Elena. He was also blessed by two additional grandchildren, Layla and Julian. And his great-grandson Jesiah.

Funeral services will be held at Leavitt's Mortuary & Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th Street, Ogden, on January 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
