Mark Mckay Michie, 56 of Roy, Utah passed away of natural causes peacefully in his sleep on June 4th, 2023. Mark was born February 11, 1967 in Cedar City, Utah to Rex and Leah Michie. He was a beloved brother to his siblings: Eric, Michael, John, Maria, Kenneth, and Brett. Mark joined the Air Force in 1985, serving numerous overseas assignments, including a deployment following the events of September 11th, 2001. He retired from the Air National Guard as CMSgt in 2014. On Halloween 2003, Mark married Ira Jean in Hawaii. They enjoyed traveling together and spending time with their children and grandchildren. Mark is survived by his wife, Ira Jean, his children, Joseph, Amanda, Carson, and Breanne, and his grandchildren, Sawyer, Laken, Logan, Oaklee, Payton, Koston, Torben, Lenix, and Esben. We would like to express our sincerest thanks for the incredible support our family has received. Memorial services will be postponed until we have had time to grieve and begin healing from this great loss.
