Marlee Barret, 70, passed away April 16, 2014. She was born, December 1, 1943 to Margaret Kirton in San Francisco, CA. She married Ronald Barrett in Evanston, WY. on August 9, 1971. She spent her early childhood in California where she developed a lifelong love of horses. Marlee later moved to Utah with her family where she met and married the love of her life, Ron Barrett, in the summer of 1971 and along with her two sons, Todd and Chris, they lived as a family of four until the Spring of 1974 when their daughter, Julie was born. Marlee had a passion for people and animals and always had a craft project close at hand. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Marlee, is survived by her husband Ron; son Chris, daughter Julie; three grandchildren, Rhiannon, Tylar and Chandler; her brothers, Tom and Rod; and sister, Carole. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Tom Kirton, son , Todd, and mother, Margaret. Funeral services will be held, Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at 11:00 am at Leavitts Mortury, 836-36th St., Ogden with a viewing from 9:45 am to 10:45 am prior to the service. Interment will be at Washington Heights Memorial Park, Ogden.
