On January 16, 2021, Marlene H Bramwell, age 82, died unexpectedly at her home in Ogden, Utah. She was born October 25, 1938, to Firmin P. and Loretta (Butler) Droesbeke.
She married James C. Holliday. They later divorced.
Marlene worked for Smith's Food King as a Deli Manager and Meat wrapper for more than 30 years. This is where she was introduced to Art Bramwell, whom she married and shared her life with for the past 40 years. They loved getting in the car and traveling through the Western United States taking photographs and visiting Antique Shops along the way.
She laughed, she smiled, she touched, she lifted, she listened, she shared, and she loved PERFECTLY.
She shared her kindness, smile, and laugher with anyone close within her reach whether in the grocery store, restaurants, yard sales, and every place in between. She was fiery and feisty, warm and gentle. She had a quick wit and never missed an opportunity to laugh at herself.
Oh, how we will miss her laugh.
Marlene is survived by her husband, Art Bramwell, her children; Scott (Jan) Holliday, Shelley (Paul) Poulsen, Tracy (Sharri) Holliday, and Lori (Jeff) Rowe, 17 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Marlene was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings; Laureta (Lynn) Wright, Donald (Jean) Droesbeke, Janice (Gary) Johnson, and Kent (Kris) Droesbeke, and a grandson, Matthew J. Irons
A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on Friday, January 22, 2021, at Leavitt's Mortuary located at 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah from 3-5 pm.
