Martha Kathleen Udink Jacobs completed her second estate on October 28, 2015 relieving her of years of pain and suffering. She was the twelfth of fourteen children born October 10, 1937 to George Udink Sr. and Grace Hansen, both of whom emigrated from the Netherlands in the early 1900s. She graduated from Weber High School in 1955 and was the first girl to graduate High School in her family. Martha had a beautiful singing voice and performed in church plays, funerals, and choirs. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her first love was to be with her family. She was a friend to all who knew her and was an inspiration of goodness and kindness. She had a spontaneous smile that would brighten any room. She married Paul A. Jacobs in Ely, Nevada on July 30, 1966 and they were later sealed for time and all eternity in the Logan L.D.S. temple on September 25, 1967. Martha is survived by her husband Paul, their 3 children, Michael (Sherry) Jacobs, Melissa (David) Pendergast, Brad (Aimee) Jacobs, twelve grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving are siblings Nora Ferrebee, Denver, Colorado, Mary Thomas, Thermopiles Wyoming, Grace Campbell, Kenilworth, Utah, Emma Bruce, Layton, Utah and Henry (Tom) and Elaine Udink Plain City, Utah. She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers and one sister. Special thanks to all those who, throughout the years, loved and cared for her and helped extend her life. We love you as did Martha. Your kindness and love will always be remembered. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 2, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Westwood LDS Ward Chapel, 2123 North 2000 West, Farr West, Utah. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, November 1, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah and prior to services from 9:45 to 10:45 at the church. Interment at the Plain City Cemetery.
