Marvin Harris Jordan Jr

February 1, 1955- June 4, 2025

Marvin passed away on the night of June 4, 2025. He is preceded in death by his father Marvin Harris Jordan Sr., his sister Rabecca Jean Jordan, and his brother Floyd Andrew Jordan.

Marvin is survived by his wife Brenda, his children: Paige (Erik), Marvin III, Arthur (Jeeranan), Genevieve (Forrest), Andrew (Kaysha), his Grandchildren: Kenneth, Jacob, Rabecca, Sabastian, Simon, Jane, Aria, Rickele, Ronald, and Mark. He is also survived by his mother Betty and siblings: Kenneth (Judy), Mary (Bob), and Lynda.

Marvin married Brenda on June 14th, 1980. They were married just short of 45 years. Marvin and Brenda moved to Casper, Wyoming in the winter of 1987, and settled down in Fremont County Wyoming in the spring of 1999.

Marvin served in the U.S. Navy post Vietnam. He was aboard the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt (Rusty Rosie) CVB/CVA/CV-42, and was most proud of his time served on the USS Oriskany (Mighty O) CVA-34. He was on both for their final cruises before they were decommissioned. He had many odd jobs during the years, but he enjoyed working for the Bureau of Land Management Telecommunications and contracting out on their Incident Management team working the telecom units. He traveled all over the U.S.A. for wildfires and other natural disaster events. Marvin served as a Volunteer Firefighter with Fremont County Fire Protection District for 10 years.

Marvin enjoyed being outdoors going camping, fishing, hunting, and just getting out to shoot his guns, with all of his family and friends.

Marvin will be missed all who knew and loved him.
