Mary W. Felix, age 94, passed away January 31, 2012. She was born, October 23, 1917 to Thomas and Mary Williams in, Malad, Idaho. She married Thomas Felix August 13, 1938 and was later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.Mary retired in 1982 from Hill Air Force Base after 22 years of service. She held many positions in the LDS Church. She helped organize the PTA at the Club Heights Elementary School and was their president. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers since 1948 in camp No. 49 and was on the company board for 14 years. In 2000 she was the Ogden Pioneer Day Queen. She also belonged to the Score Club and Litra Chimes Literary Club which she helped form in 1943.Mary is survived by her children Earl (Sonja) Spokane, Washington, Gary (Jeannine) Roy and Judy (Cal) Bennett Syracuse, 6 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren.Mary is preceded in death by her parents, siblings and husband. Services will be held on Saturday February 4, 2012 at 2:00pm at Leavitts Mortuary 836 36th Street Ogden, UT. A viewing will be held Friday February 3rd from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and Saturday February 4th from 1:00pm to 1:45pm at Leavitts Mortuary.Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.leavittsmortuary.com
