Aunt Mary Mary Ann Zito Jensen passed away on Friday, February 24, 2017 at Crestwood Care Center. She was born December 13, 1916 to Matteo (Matt) and Lucia (Lucy) Carleo Zito in Riverdale, Utah. She lived and worked on the family farms in Riverdale and Roy, taking care of her mother and nieces. Mary attended Weber High School and worked at the Ogden Arsenal from 1941 to 1946. While working at the arsenal, she met Pete Jensen. They were married on June 14, 1952 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She worked with her husband at Jensen Floral from the time they were married until they retired in 1975. They enjoyed fishing and camping with both of their families at Yellowstone National Park. After her husbands death, she enjoyed going to Wendover, NV with her sisters and to Las Vegas with her friend, Ann Wilson. She also enjoyed bowling at Ben Lomond Bowling Lanes. She was a member of the Open Door Organization with her husband and was a past member of the Eagles Womens Auxiliary. Mary is survived by her sister, Rosie Hampson and many nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, and great grand-nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Rocky, Ralph (Lillie), John (Laura) and Nick; sisters, Virginia (DeVere) Hansen, Anna (Leonard) Salmon, Jennie (Bob) Dixon and Julia. The family would like to thank the many caregivers through the Department of Aging in Weber County, Crestwood Care Center and CNS Hospice. A special thanks to Dr. Seth Lewis who cared for her after she suffered a stroke in 1998. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah. Friends may visit with the family prior to services from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm. A Rosary will be recited at 1:00 pm. Interment at Leavitts Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah.
