Mary Jeanette RedfieldMay 19, 1953-April 9, 2012Im off to see new things! Im so glad to finally be free from the constraints of mortality. This cancer has held me back for long enough. I have so many things to do, new beaches to walk, sunrises to see. Im excited that Ill soon be greeted by my Mom, Daddy, and brother Byron. I know that my Savior will also be there, welcoming me back home. I will miss the ones that I have to leave behind, my daughters Ginger and Amber, my sons Eric and Jake, my sisters Emma and Roberta and brother George, my many nieces, nephews, cousins, and aunts. I think Ill miss my grandkids most of all and I leave my heart with them; Braxton, Lexie, Hanna, Jackson, Cohen, Zane, and Elsa. They are still my most precious treasures. My hope for those I will leave behind is that they will not grieve too deeply. I want them to know that Im happy, that Im not gone but that Ive just moved on to the next adventure, and that I will see them again someday. Goodbye for now. Think of me when you hear the sound of the waves crashing on the beach and know that Ill be with you when you do.A graveside service will be held for me at Aultorest Memorial Park 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah on Friday, April 13, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. My family and close friends will be gathering for a celebration of my life at the LDS church at 535 West 2700 South in Syracuse, Utah at 12:00 p.m.Services under the direction of Leavitts Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Ovarian Cancer Research fund (OCRF.org).
