Maurine graduated from Weber State University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She taught at Park View and Marlon Hills elementary schools.

Maurine married her long-time sweetheart, James Blair Williams on April 12, 1968 in the Salt Lake LDS temple. Maurine dedicated her life to her husband and family of four sons, for which they are eternally grateful. Maurine was devout in her faith. She always did her best to show a good example to her family. She served as Ward organist and Primary pianist for many years. Maurine was a kind-hearted person and a happy, positive soul. She was blessed with 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
