Max Koons Chapman passed away Sunday, November 27, 2016. He was born April 21, 1934 to Lester Max and Martha Gertrude Koons Chapman in Ogden, Utah. He graduated from Ogden High School. He married Darlene Steffen, they later divorced. He then married Mary Garcia whom later divorced. Maxs children would like to thank Trudi Chapman Hatch and Denton Hatch for their help and kindness in Maxs final year. Max is survived by his children, Mike Chapman, Rick Chapman, Karen Smith, Cathy Chapman Sorenson; step daughter, Jackie Vigil; sister, Connie Chapman; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lester Max and Martha Gertrude (Rudie) Koons Chapman; three brothers, Lee Charles Chapman, his identical twin, Jack Lusk Chapman, Paul Chapman and daughter, Jill Chapman Medina.
