Melissa Ann Nelson of West Haven passed away from Melanoma Cancer after a courageous three year battle. She fought every day for living her life. She was born in Newton, Iowa and moved to Utah when she was about one year old. She attended Pioneer Elementary, Wahlquist Junior High School and Weber High School. The one love of her life was her son, Hunter Brand Hilton. She is survived by Hunter; mother, Carol Nelson; stepfather, Dennis Dickamore, three brothers and two sisters, Daniel Eugene Nelson; Kenneth Ray Nelson; Michael Edwin Nelson; Karen Sue Brown and Christina Lomax and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her very special love, Shon Kirby who had helped her through her many trials. She is preceded in death by her sister, Denise Dianne who was willing to take her hand through eternity. Also preceding her were grandparents, Herbert Yockey and Frances Yockey. Her one passion was attending motocross with her five favorite guys. She was always there to cheer them on. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah.
