Melvin Ray Fisher's Obituary

Melvin Ray Fisher passed away on October 28, 2015 at Lomond Peak Nursing Center. He was born June 12, 1926 to Don and Nettie Fisher. He was one of ten children. He was a truck driver for 28 years for CME out of Los Angeles, CA where he moved his family in 1955. He loved to fish, ride motorcycles and walk. Melvin was a W.W. II Veteran serving in the Pacific Campaign. He received many ribbons. He enlisted as a private and was honorably discharged as a Sgt. He is survived by his wife of 67 years Evelyn (McCrone) Fisher, one son, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, three sisters, one brother and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by four brothers, one sister and three children. He was loved by all and will be missed. May he rest in peace. Services will be held Friday, November 6, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 -36th St., Ogden, UT. Family will great friends from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm. Interment at Leavitts Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 - 36th St., Ogden, UT.
