Mercedes Marie Serrano was born in La Mirada, CA to Teressa Garcia and Isaac Serrano. Shortly after she moved to Ogden, UT where she was raised and graduated from Ogden High. She also attended Steven Henager College. Mercedes was a very loving and caring person, she would go out of her way to help anyone in need. Mercedes was truly a princess she loved doing her makeup, hair and nails. Now she will be in paradise with her beautiful queen. During her short time on earth she was faced with many challenges, but always had a smile on her face. She was blessed on Nov. 1, 2012 with a beautiful daughter Teressa Marie Serrano and now she will forever be her angel guiding her through life. Your family will always love you Chitas and you will never be forgotten. Love always and forever, your family. Mercedes is survived by one daughter Teressa, her father Isaac, Angela Serrano (Philip), Shantesia Serrano, CA; Isaac Serrano, Jr., UT; Jose Serrano, UT; grandmother, Margaret Trejo, UT and many Aunts and Uncles. She is welcomed into the gates of heaven by Teressa Garcia Serrano, a grandmother, Mercedes Serrano and a grandfather, Jose Serrano. Funeral services will be held on Sunday October 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden Utah. Donations to offset funeral costs will be accepted at any Wells Fargo under the name of Mercedes Serrano.
