Michael French MacMonagleRoy, UtahMichael F. MacMonagle (age 62), son of William D. MacMonagle, (Col. USAF Retd) and Betty B. MacMonagle formerly of Saratoga Springs, N.Y., passed away at 2:10 pm, Aug. 8 in Ogden, Utah after a hell of a fight with pancreatic cancer. He died peacefully, surrounded by his family.Michael was a 1967 graduate of St. Peters Academy (now Saratoga Central Catholic HS), and served 20 years in the USAF. After retirement he worked in the Aerospace Industry until the time of his death (24 years). He is survived by his wife Hope of 37 years, four children and their spouses: Gabriel (Nichol), Toni (Lane), Laura (David), and William and six grandchildren: Ricky, Leni, Lorenzo, Gavin, Abby and Riley. He is also survived by his mother, two brothers; Peter and Patrick, and his sister, Molly.There will be a viewing at Leavitts Mortuary in Ogden, 836 36th Street, at 6pm, Friday, August 12, 2011, followed by the saying of the Rosary at 7pm. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday at 10am at St. Marys Catholic Church, 4050 South 3900 West, West Haven, Utah.
