IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Michael
Parkinson
October 26, 1960 – January 24, 2026
Michael Leon Parkinson (1960 – 2026)
Michael Leon Parkinson, age 65, passed away on January 24, 2026. Born on October 26, 1960, and raised in Marriott-Slaterville, Utah, Mike was a proud graduate of Weber High School. He spent his career as a dedicated employee with Central Weber Sewer, where he was known for his hard work and reliable nature.
A longtime resident of Farr West, Mike was the embodiment of a "stoic storyteller." He was a man of chivalry and quiet strength who felt most at home in the rugged beauty of the West. Whether he was hunting, fishing, camping, or spending time at the range, he had a deep respect for the outdoors. When he wasn't working on his truck, he could often be found enjoying a Western movie or book, usually with his loyal dogs, Hades and Coco, at his side.
Mike is survived by his devoted wife of 44 years, Vicki Parkinson; his three sons, Casey, Colter, and Caleb; and his seven cherished grandchildren: Lyla, Max, Nova, Lucy, Stella, Ezra, and Ginny, and his sister, Joyce. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Cody Parkinson; his parents, Raymond and Marjorie Parkinson; and his siblings, Elden, Janice, and Anne.
A memorial service to celebrate Mike's life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the LDS Church House, 1800 West 1800 North, Farr West, UT 84404.
