MICHAEL CLAYTON PETTINGILL June 16 ,1939 ~ November 29, 2019 Michael Clayton Pettingill passed away on November 29th 2019, at the Davis County Hospital with his wife Myrna by his side. Mike was born in Ogden, Utah on the 16th of June 1939, to Frank Clayton Brown and Thelma Florence Beeler and at the time they resided at 1518 Jefferson Ave. in Ogden. At the approximate age of 14, Mike was adopted by Floyd John Pettingill. During his life Mike resided in the Ogden area; Alexandria, Virginia; Wendover and Ely, Nevada; Clearfield and Layton, Utah. He attended Ben Lomond High School. He experienced much in his lifetime, with one of his most positive attributes being that he always worked hard. He loved to play hard as well. Mike is survived by his loving wife Myrna, who cared for his every need. He is also survived by his children and two brothers, David (Corey) in Draper and Neil (Joyce) in West Jordan. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Bob, and one son. Mike felt much grief and sadness that he didnt have any relationship with his children!!
