This is Michael Alfred Poulson, Space Cowboy, signing off.

It's been a beautiful ride for 70 years on this south side of heaven. But the good lord has dispatched me home by 04-23-25 so I must be moving on now. Born in Ogden, Utah, May 2nd, 1954, to John and Ruby Poulson. I was the second of three children.

I was a rambling man and a rolling stone with over 37 years driving 18 wheelers across the country I love, always racing to get back home. I loved unapologetically and forgave unconditionally. I was married seven times and widowed twice so I have plenty to look forward to on the otherside. Mom, Dad, two grandchildren, and my four-legged baby girl Missy. Daddy's coming home.

I lived my life one day at a time. Leaving behind six sons, Jason Poulson (Tiffany Poulson), Matt Shinney (Randi Shinney), Josh Poulson (Honey Poulson), Chris Poulson (Kayla Poulson), and Nick Poulson (Alexis Astle) and a surprise named Noah Hale. Three daughters, Sara Bitter (Joe Bitter), Brandi Palmer (Eric Palmer), and Tiffany Rhodes, and 28 grandchildren.

I spent my final days surrounded by my kids, grandkids, and some additional family and friends. My run was over a little too soon, but I am ready to meet my lord and savior, Jesus Christ. I remained steadfast and unmoved in my LDS faith.

I would like to give a big hearted thanks to my daughter in-laws Kayla Poulson and Honey Poulson for taking such care of me along the way and in my last mile.

I may be gone but through all of you, my memory lives on.
