Michael Fredrick Yokom, age 81, passed away on December 30, 2017, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born July 22, 1936, to Fred and Helen Yokom in Cloguet City, Minnesota. Michael married Lana Lola Cook Wade Yokom.
He proudly and faithfully served 20 years in the Air Force and retired as a Tech 5 Sergeant, received a National Defense Service metal and the Air Force Longevity Service Award. After retiring from the military Michael worked civil service at Hill Air Force Base Missile Program until he retired.
Michael had a passion for making knives, hunting, and fishing. He was loved by everyone that knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Lana; daughters, Sherry Nolan and Melissa (Bill) Mecham; son, Monte (Sandy) Wade; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Helen Yokom and one brother, Jim Yokom
There will be no public funeral service.
