Mickie Lee Stephens Rubert, age 79, passed away August 10, 2018. She was born December 19, 1939, to Leland and Mildred (Wakeford) Stephens in Ogden Utah, she was the oldest of three daughters. Mickie graduated from Ogden High School in 1958 and continued her education receiving a Nursing Degree from Weber College in 1960. She had the opportunity to work in many different specialties throughout her career and she enjoyed caring for others. She married Edwin H. Rubert on March 5, 1970, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. She was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mickie was a loving mother and grandmother who loved her family unconditionally. Mickie is survived by her son, John Rubert; daughter, Heather Rubert; three grandchildren, Kristy (Cory) Martinez, Kiefer Rubert, and Emily Rubert; and one great-grandchild, Ruby Martinez. Mickie is preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughter-in-law, Paula Rubert; and sister, Sammy (Stephens) Pearson. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 18, 2018, at 10:00 a.m., at the North Ogden 6th Ward, 770 E 2100 N North Ogden, Ut, 84414. A viewing will be held Friday, August 17 at the Ward from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and prior to services on Saturday, August 18 from 9:00 a.m to 9:45 a.m. Interment at Ben Lomond Cemetery, 526 2850 N St, North Ogden, UT 84414
