Mildred Ladean Bowen peacefully passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at Mt. Ogden Rehabilitation and Care Center.
She was born on December 31, 1929, in Nebo, Laclede County, Missouri, the daughter of Burton John Caudle and Eunice Evajean Kembel. She received and completed her education while living in Burley, Idaho graduating from Burley High School in 1950.
She married Keith Junior Bowen on December 8, 1952, in Burley, Idaho.
She was an active member of the First Christian Church and later the Washington Heights Baptist Church.
Mildred worked as an (LPN) Licensed Practical Nurse throughout her career, retiring from St. Benedicts Hospital in 1992.
She traveled the world conquering Europe, Scotland, Switzerland, Germany, Greece, Caribbean, Hawaii and across the United States with her brother.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and dear friend to many. She loved her family immensely and loved everyone she met.
Mildred is survived by her children, Linda Toupin of Ogden, Utah, Karen Housley of Vancouver, Washington, and Ken Bowen of Paul, Idaho; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one sister; Roberta Vincent.
The funeral will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, August 5, 2017, at the Paul Cemetery, 550 West 100 North, Paul, Idaho. Interment will be in the Paul Cemetery. Friends may visit Friday, August 4, 2017, from 6:00 pm 8:00 pm at Rasmussen Funeral Home, 1350 East 16th Street, Burley, Idaho.
The family would like to give special thanks to Symbii Home Health and Hospice as well as Wasatch Home Helpers for the care and love they showed Mildred.
