Hannah Naomi Parsons Heiner blessed this world with her presence on September 12, 1919. Born in Ogden, Utah to Joseph and Martha (Evans) Parsons. She was a lifetime resident of Ogden, except for the short times she followed her husband to his locations of working for the Union Pacific Railroad. Naomi married the love of her life, Ralph Heiner on February 25, 1942 in the Salt Lake Temple. He preceded her in death July 8, 1993 after 51 years of marriage. Naomi had 7 children, 4 of which died in infancy (Sandra, Dalene, LaNae, and Brian) and a daughter (Debra Kae) who died of cancer in November of 2000. Naomi was a courageous lady who lived with much heartache, but always managed to give a warm hug and smile whenever she greeted you. Naomi loved to sew, crochet, embroider and do crafts, and was an active member of the LDS church, but most of all she cherished being with her family. She joined her beloved husband and 5 children, along with her parents, 3 sisters, and a brother on 12, February, 2011 at the age of 91 years. She sadly leaves behind 2 sons, Roger (Suzanne), and Layne (Dixie), 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. A special thanks to Applegate Hospice, also CANs Sara and Tara for their loving care. A viewing for the family and friends will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 16, 2011at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street.
