Nathan McAdams, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend passed away on June 21st, 2024, at his home. He was 35 years old.
Nathan was born in Gainesville, Florida, on May 9, 1989, and moved with his family to Riverdale, Utah, during his childhood. Throughout his life, Nathan cherished his family above all else, demonstrating an unparalleled devotion to his loved ones, particularly his mother. Described by friends and family as the epitome of kindness and selflessness, Nathan consistently put others' needs before his own. His caring nature touched countless lives, leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to have known him.
Nathan's passion for marine life, especially sharks, was evident to all who knew him. He found solace and fascination in the mysteries of the ocean, regularly sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm with others. Growing up he also found joy and success in karate.
Nathan leaves behind a legacy of compassion and generosity that will continue to inspire those who were privileged to have been a part of his life. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were touched by his gentle spirit.
Nathan is preceded in death by his father, Stuart Wayne, his brother, Stuart, and grandparents Hal Burch and Marian. He is survived by his mother, Susan, brother David (Athena), Sister Nicole Taylor (Josh), Grandparents Dave and Maurine Grover, his favorite nieces and nephews Mason and Jackson Taylor, and Gage, KayBree, and BrynLee McAdams and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service to celebrate Nathan's life will be held at Leavitt's Mortuary on June 27th at 10:00 A.M.
In lieu of flowers the family asks you make a donation to the American Diabetes Association in honor of Nathan.
Rest peacefully, Nathan. Your kindness, your love of sharks, and your gentle spirit will forever live on in our hearts.
