Nelda Jodene "Jody" Harger (née Bowan), age 83, passed away on May 5, 2026, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born on October 5, 1942, in Silver City, New Mexico.

Nelda was the daughter of James Henry Bowan and Lillie Irene Priest, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also predeceased by her brother, Dale L. Light.

She is survived by her sons, Roy L. Harger and Danny J. Harger; her sister, Wilma F. Fallon; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Nelda will be remembered for her loving and caring nature and for being stunningly beautiful inside and out. Her warmth and kindness left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

May her memory bring comfort to those who loved her and inspire them to carry forward the love she so generously shared.

 A visitation will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM located at Leavitt's Mortuary & Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th Street, Ogden. A graveside service will follow from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
